My family loves Stillwater! Why? Stillwater has excellent educational opportunities (Stillwater Public Schools, Meridian Technology Center, Northern Oklahoma College, Oklahoma State University), it is a safe community served by an excellent police department and fire department, great neighbors and more. Stillwater is supportive of youth through Boy Scouts and 4-H and more. Stillwater is a great place to work, and an even better place to live.

Stillwater says HOME. The people of Stillwater are the thing that makes this community great. Everyone is welcoming, open, and very friendly. Every citizen of Stillwater is your neighbor. When I moved here sixteen years ago, I never thought I would still be here, but I am and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Stillwater has it all: great schools, a wonderful downtown, churches, parks, sports, entertainment, museums, and of course, OSU! I'm proud to call Stillwater my home!

Stillwater, I love Stillwater! I grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School and OSU. After graduation my job took me to Dallas and then to Baltimore. After living in a big city I have a new found appreciation for Stillwater. I am thrilled that my husband, Tim, and my children will grow up in such a wonderful community. Stillwater has great schools, friendly people and is safe. I love the fact that my children will experience the close friendships you get by living in a small city and love that Stillwater is so involved in extracurricular activities. I wouldn't want to raise my children anywhere else.

Stillwater, enough said right? Well I believe that is what everyone thinks who has ever had the chance to call Stillwater home! Five years ago, Mandi and I moved here for job opportunities and it was a blessing. It has allowed us to live a better quality of life. You can pick any day of the week and you can find something to do. When I was born back in 1980, my first baby outfit was a classic Pistol Pete outfit; keep in mind I was from Kansas. I was destined to be a "Cowboy." Unaware, my Mother kept the outfit and on my 26th birthday she gave it to me as a present. The value of that to me is what Stillwater is all about. My mother has since passed and there is not a day that goes by that I do not look at that outfit and think of the significance that it has given me.

Growing up in the Perkins area, we always came to Stillwater on weekends to have fun. We would go shopping or out to dinner. Stillwater has always felt safe. I am a adult now and work in Stillwater and have watched it grow. It is still a safe place to have fun!
